MASHAMBA ZOTE ZA RUTO TUTACHUKUA….Joho challenges Ruto to surrender all land parcels he acquired illegally

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho wants Deputy President William Ruto to forfeit all 2,500 acres in Taita Taveta County that he got as a gift.

Joho said Ruto should surrender the land to squatters because he got it while serving as a public officer.

“Ruto himself announced that he got the 2,500 acres as a gift. In line with government regulations, Ruto is a public officer and should surrender such a gift to the State for distribution to Taita Taveta residents. It is State property and he should return it for public use,” he argued.

Addressing a rally in Oyugis, Homabay County, Joho said him as Azimio la umoja government’s Lands Cabinet secretary will repossess all irregularly allocated land to Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza friends

“I want to caution all those who have benefited from irregular allocation of land here in Kenya especially Ruto and friends that they should prepare to surrender the property to the government,” Joho said.

On port operations, he said Ruto had supported the transfer and he could not go back on his word, adding that there were audio recordings to support his claims.
